7 minute presentation

From planning our presentataion myself and my groupmate Ryan Cross have inadvertly made a list of what we need to plan and how the short film is going to work.
the things we have found what we need to work on is: script, locations and sound. we have analysed our signifiers in our film, we have also decided on where we are going to film and how we are going to film it

Presentation

we have been asked to make a 7 minute presentation for our production. This will include:
-semiotics
-meta-analysis
-analysis of directors
-evidence of critising/denoting -sound(non-diagetic,ambiant,contrapunctal,synchranous,asychronous)
-lighting
-camera
-editing
-script
-storyboard
-locations
this has got to be done by thursday

i have realised that i am not working hard enough to gain a good grade - discussion with my teacher helped me to write this action plan
complete a diary every day for three weeks
upload mini-essays defining (and using quotes) director, editor, sound, in a film - source/cite opinions and beliefs from existing film-makers to support my points.
upload photos/screen snatches that show the style i want to recreate
add posts that evidence i have looked at key film sites

Locations Ideas and Plans

We have spent 15-20mins discussing what possible locations and scenes that could be used in our short film. We have a few ideas for where we can film the characters going to the meeting places but having some problems with the actual location the main scene will be held. We have had the idea of using the studio in our school media department. I have also got a friend who owns alot of unused land including derelict buildings and general shoddy areas. This will be very helpful as this will be nearly perfect for our production.
We will be taking photographs of these locations and uploading them and then deciding which would be the best place to shoot our production.
